At Top Gro Agro Ltd, our journey is deeply rooted in the rich soil of Mallaig, Alberta. In 2011, the Machura family took over W. Dechaine Enterprises, a robust family business with a vibrant history dating back to 1967, heralding a new era in agricultural excellence.

September 2014 marked a significant milestone with the unveiling of the fastest, largest, and most state-of-the-art blending facility in the entire Lakeland area. More than a structure, it symbolized our unwavering commitment to providing the best for our farming community.

In 2015, our previous owner and manager, Leon Dechaine, retired. This marked a transformative period for our business. Undergoing a rebranding effort, Chris Schuh was promoted to Manager, and Top Gro Agro Ltd emerged. This transition wasn't just about changing the name; it was a clear declaration of our commitment to being the top choice for agricultural solutions.

In 2016, our commitment was acknowledged when Top Gro Agro was honored as the Retailer of the Year. This recognition wasn't solely about exceeding expectations for our customers; it was a testament to our enduring spirit of agriculture and community.

July 2019 marked a notable moment as the old fertilizer blending plant on Railway Avenue was dismantled. Far from signaling the end of an era, it represented a deliberate step forward towards modernization and efficiency.
